Overview
McCORMICK PRODUCT MANAGER
KEY DELIVERABLES:
1. Profitability Management by setting annual sales and profit targets and coordinating with R&D, Operations and Purchasing on cost savings management to ensure that profit targets are met.
2. Budget Management by setting annual A&P budget and monitoring budget broken down monthly based on the total year A&P and actual monthly expenses.
3. New Product Development by preparing product/packaging briefs of a specific product, coordinating these with the New Product Development Group, preparing the launch plans and monitoring distribution, inventory and sales off take from time of launch.
4. Market Research/Studies by collecting business and economic data, conducting field study/surveys and analyzing/evaluating data gathered to develop marketing plan for the products handled.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of Marketing, Management or Communications or any related course
- Must possess at least 4 years experience in product management in a manufacturing/fast moving consumer goods set-up.
- Must be adept in budget planning and basic costing.
- Articulate, detail-oriented, analytical and with good business acumen.
