Overview
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, or any business-related course
- At least two (2) years of experience as a Restaurant Manager with a proven track record
- Above-average communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel and Outlook
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Willing to undergo training and work extended hours when necessary
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review cash flow and profit & loss statements and develop action plans to improve performance
- Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during operations
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance and provide coaching or feedback
- Track inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering
- Train staff to follow company SOPs and service standards
- Record and maintain payroll-related data
- Implement and enforce company policies and operational protocols
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, health, and safety regulations
- Oversee the overall daily restaurant operations
- Monitor and control operational costs and identify ways to reduce waste
